PSP Pitching at Enabling IP Environment (EIE) Project

Kuala Lumpur 20 April - Pitching and networking session during National Workshop on Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and Intellectual Property (IP) Management in the framework of the Enabling IP Environment (EIE) Project. This workshop organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in cooperation with MyIPO and with the assistance of the Japan Patent Office (JPO) held on 16-20 April 2018 at MyIPO Academy, Bangsar.

Putra Science Park (PSP) is a technology transfer office (TTO) for UPM that supports technology transfer activities in UPM by moving the potential technologies and research from the laboratory to the market.

PSP plays a vital role in helping secure and protect UPM’s innovation through IP protection and identifies appropriate strategies for commercialization of the IP.

PSP also promotes the potential of technologies through the various channel such as publication, exhibition, showcase, press conferences and business matching programs with industry.

In addition, PSP enhanced technology transfer activities to the Malaysia industries through the Incubation hub (INNOHUB) development to nurture and develop technology entrepreneurship in the university as a start-up company.

All staff of PSP are committed to managing the university’s innovations that will impact the country's social and economic growth.

UPM PSP is also a member of the Innovation Technology Managers Association ITMA since 2014.
